David Swim SS2021 – An odyssey through the decades:

50’s Pin up, 60’s Nautical, 70’s Safari, 80’s glam, 90’s Minimalism

As the 70th brand’s anniversary approaches, David’s S/S 2021 swim collection revisits

the key trends od the past five decades.

Based in Naples, Southern Italy, David was launched as early as 1952. The brand’s focus is to provide a more tailored approach to women’s swimwear, ensuring a flawless fit and an effortlessly chic Italian style. Recently the brand has branched out into beach apparel and beach essentials to offer a complete look for the modern woman in and out of the pool.

Less high fashion and more classic resort, everything we do is about understated simplicity and is focused on attention to detail – with fit, functionality and comfort as key attributes.

90’s Minimalism: Black and white chic

A sophisticated group of two-toned bikinis and swimsuits printed with a minimalist striped pattern.

The elegance of the simple designs is enhanced by a removable jewel-bow detail.

70’s Safari: Retro designs and animal prints

The new Tulip triangle top and high-waist belted bottom is a clear homage to one of the most iconic bikinis in history – the all-time famous bikini worn by Ursula Andress in James Bond’s cult movie Dr. No.

Part of a wider group, this set features a unique and innovative cannetè textured fabric printed with a striking khaki and black zebra pattern.

80’s Glam: the Starry Night group

Celebrating the glitz of that decade, the Starry Night group has all the ingredients for a glam night under the stars: bright colours, bold designs and a strass embellishments.

Dare to impress in these gorgeous and shimmering swimsuits in and out of the pool.
