Brain Disorders
Cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs) are one of the leading causes of patient morbidity, mortality and the most frequent causes of acquired disability worldwide. Patient rehabilitation after a CVA can prove to be difficult since even with the best possible care less than a third of patients make a full recovery. Patients usually encounter serious problems with their mobility (balance, gait disorders, paralysis of the upper and lower limbs), communication, as well as significant self-care difficulties.
Clinical studies have shown that the complex effects of the 9 herbal components contained in the food supplement NurAiD™ II (MLC901) stimulate the secretion of the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) as well as the development and proliferation of new neuronal cells (1,2) thus increasing the chances of post-CVA patients regaining independence.(3)
It is taken concomitantly with other medication for at least 3 months.
